1.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Training Manager is responsible for creating a safe training environment for our customers and ensuring that the instructors are following and complying with AeroGuard safety regulations.
Responsibilities include:
- The Training Manager is directly responsible the progress of his/her students and have to meet or exceed performance goals set for the class including;
- Follow a set timeline that outlines target dates
- Minimize aircraft overage hours for all students
- Partner with Campus Director to ensure quality control within their assigned students
- The Training Manager is responsible for managing, coaching and mentoring Instructors and Students
- This includes daily meetings with Instructors and Students, and providing performance reports and informing of student goals
- The Training Manger is responsible for coordinating and setting up a daily bidsheet for all of his/her instructors and students. The bidsheet will be communicated every morning with scheduling
- The Training Manager is also responsible for making necessary changes to the bidsheet throughout the workday to reduce cancellations
- The Training Manager is required to assist with the production flights and stage checks as necessary.
- Reports any standardization issues to the Campus Director and Standardization department.
- Supports and participates in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to comply with ISO 9001:2015 requirements by adhering to processes and procedures.
2.0 REQUIREMENTS
2.1 EDUCATION
- Associate’s Degree (Preferred).
- Meets AeroGuard Flight Training Center Stage Check qualifications if not already a Stage Check Pilot (Preferred).
- Must hold current FAA CFI/CFII ratings (MEI preferred).
2.2 EXPERIENCE
- 12 months of experience at AeroGuard is preferred but not required.
2.3 SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time throughout 8 hour work day.
2.4 KNOWLEDGE
- Proficiency with MS Excel and Word
2.5 EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USED
- General office equipment such as facsimile, copier, personal computer, etc. will be utilized.
3.0 PHYSICAL AND SAFETYREQUIREMENTS
- Will be working primarily inside the facility.
- Frequent exposure to aircraft, simulators and equipment.
- May require prolonged periods of sitting or standing and computer use.
4.0 OTHERS
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Self-starter, does not wait for others to provide work, finds ways to keep busy or help others.
