Automann services its distributors out of (4) US Distribution centers; Monroe Township NJ (HQ), New Lennox IL, Duncanville TX and Ontario CA and (2) distribution centers in Canada: Brampton ON and Edmonton AB.

Summary
We have an immediate need for an Information Technology Associate who will work with our I.T. team on various technology projects and also support other I.T. staff and end-users. This position is located at our facility in Monroe Township New Jersey (you should live within a 45-minute commute). Working on-site is required (this is not a remote position). You would be part of the HQ I.T. team who helps to set policies and procedures for all locations. You must be willing to work occasional weekends or late-nights [typically for installing updates] as required. You may also be asked to travel to our other Distribution Centers for specific projects.
We are willing to train the right candidate, in many of the responsibilities outlined below.
Responsibilities
1. Meet with members of the I.T. team to discuss project goals and general requirements.
2. Perform helpdesk/support tasks:
- Tier I, II and III End-User Help Desk Support for non-technical users who are utilizing Windows 10 and 11, and desktop applications including Office 2016/2019/2021, Microsoft 365, Remote Desktop, 3D/CAD installation/configuration, and other tools (iWarehouse, DocStar, etc)
- Troubleshooting for staff reported issues with the corporate ERP system Epicor Prophet 21. When unsure of issue or solution, open support tickets with Epicor and follow-through on solution.
- Support warehouse end users utilizing Honeywell Dolphin CK65’s and other handheld Android based scanners.
- Maintain printers, install maintenance kits and related tasks (change toners, print heads, drums, ribbons, ink).
3. Windows admin & cybersecurity tasks:
- System Administration for Windows Server 2022, Exchange Server 2019/365, SharePoint 365, SQL Server 2019, and Ubuntu Linux. Perform system maintenance, upgrades, configurations, scripting, webhooks, troubleshooting, etc.
- Create new virtual servers and maintain existing using Prism on Nutanix Acropolis.
- Monitoring of cybersecurity end point protection and network monitoring tools such as RedGate, Nagios, Syslog, and others.
- Perform Active Directory maintenance (user accounts, authentication and authorization using Organizational Units and Global Policies) and domain management.
- Maintain Avaya IP Office phone system servers and tasks (username/extension changes, etc).
4. Secondary network admin & security tasks:
- Full stack Meraki maintenance/monitoring of firewall/router, switches, wireless access points, DNS/DHCP servers for all locations.
- Maintain security servers and physical security systems including Video Surveillance and Door Access Management/Badge Printing.
5. Perform other computer tasks and desktop support, as assigned by I.T. Director.
6. Report back status to the I.T. team on a daily basis.
Qualifications
1. The ideal candidate will be an I.T. generalist who has performed system administration for Windows Server/Desktop and Network systems.
2. Understand how to setup, configure and administer Windows 11 computers and Windows Server 2022.
3. Familiarity with network administration practices (IP Addressing, IP Subnets, VLANs, client monitoring, etc).
4. Ability to operate a wide variety of computer applications including Microsoft Office.
5. Be a self-starter, have high standards, good time management skills, organized, with the ability to work independently or on a team, and have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
6. You must be able to think outside the box and troubleshoot end-user desktop, network and server and ERP issues. When unsure what the issue is, summarize what you know and work with I.T. consultants and support staff to resolve.
Strong Pluses
a) Hands-on experience with Meraki dashboard/network management tools.
b) Knowledge or experience with Cybersecurity best practices.
c) Ability to read existing SQL and edit to create Ad Hoc reports using SQL Server Management Studio.
d) Experience with warehouse management/distribution and ERP systems, especially Epicor Prophet 21.
e) Experience with Korber/HighJump Wireless Warehouse Management System.
