Responsibilities:
· Responsible for growth of revenue, quality of service, and all operational aspects of the business
· Overall management of the schedulers and caregivers within their region, including hiring, supervision, discipline, and terminations as required. Includes communication and enforcement of the rules within the Employee Handbook
· Client Assessments: Performs onsite assessments of all VA, Medicaid, and assists the Sales & Marketing Team with Private Pay clients as needed. Develops the non-medical in-home care plan, inputs into Well Sky and Life Profile, communicates care plans to the appropriate schedulers or caregivers, and handles the day 1 onsite introduction of the caregiver to the client. The Care Manager is responsible for completing client folders, filing, and compliance with all local regulations.
· Provides weekly KPIs to the COO
· Blueprint Marketing and relationship building with referral sources in your area. Participation in network and industry groups
· In concert with the Scheduling Coordinator, responsible for ensuring appropriate matching and placement of caregivers with clients and ensuring scheduling is done for optimum gross profit margin.
· Conducts regular stop-ins with clients to ensure client satisfaction, care plans are being implemented correctly, policies and procedures are adhered to, and all job duties are performed in a manner that is satisfactory and meets the Senior Helpers brand expectations.
· Through the scheduler reviews the daily logs and time sheets bi-weekly to ensure that each caregiver is following the care plan and that lost hours are identified.
· Through the scheduler, manages all caregiver call outs, late arrivals, early departures, and refusals of assignments; takes appropriate action based on the Employee Handbook
· Handles Client Complaints and works with the COO as needed to find satisfactory resolution.
· Assists in caregiver training programs, (in collaboration with the DON). This includes compliance with the Senior Gems® program. This also includes any training programs required to maintain compliance with Medicaid, or other specialty programs.
· Handle on-call duty on a regular basis and as directed by the COO.
· Manages all branch personnel to set and achieve weekly goals. When goals are not met, this person coaches and motivates personnel. Take appropriate discipline action as necessary.
· Attends local business and industry related networking functions as required.
· Works with COO to determine appropriate revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Skills:
- · Minimum of three years management experience required.
· Minimum three years’ experience in the senior industry
· Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
· Exceptional and verifiable customer service skills and experience
· Must have illustrative examples that demonstrate your drive and motivation.
· Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability
· Ability to visit clients’ homes in the assigned territory.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required.
· Ability to learn other software programs quickly.
· Strong verbal communication skills, especially using the telephone.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
