Mobility Plus North Scottsdale provides equipment solutions to assist those with disabilities, injuries, recent surgeries, and illnesses to go where they want to go. We are hiring friendly, passionate, talented, experienced, mobility professionals. This is a full-time (average 40 hours per week) role. We are open Monday through Friday from 10AM to 5:30PM and Saturdays from 11am-2:00pm. This position will normally be compensated from $16-$18/hour, commensurate with the applicant’s experience. Once the training period of 90 days is complete, the compensation amount may be revisited.
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Oversees the reception area, greeting customers and answering the phone, and transferring calls or taking messages. If needed, assists customers with getting into the store with a wheelchair from the parking lot.
- Provides information on rentals, services, products and explains company policies
- Maintains employee schedules, customer logs and records
- Helps with office roles; such as checking customers out, record keeping, filing, and payment processing
- Receives deliveries and make sure they get to the right person
- Assists in the cleaning of equipment and making sure the store front is presentable
Qualifications: Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when speaking and writing
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Three to six months of experience in healthcare, social work, retail, sales, or hospitality
- Working knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs
- Ability to learn new software quickly (e.g., simple transactions in CRM)
- Proofreading and checking documents for accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional presence and skilled in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communicating
- Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
Physical Requirements of the Job
- Frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Regularly stooping, bending, and kneeling
- Ability to be on your feet for up to eight hours during one work shift
- Reaching and grasping objects at, above, and below shoulder level
- Grasping and fine manipulation with hands
