Who We Are
CPTS Midwest is an Industrial Manufacturer’s Representative established in 2009 in Kansas City. We represent Industry leaders for the power transmission, motion control and material handling industries. Our sales people are Certified Sales Professionals CSP and our owner is a Certified Professional Manufacturer’s Representative CPMR all endorsed by the MRERF organization.
Who We Service
We call on several industries including but not limited to: Food & Grain, Steel, Cement, Oil & Gas, and Tire & Rubber. CPTS Midwest also serves as valuable partners to our Original Equipment Manufacturers, Integrators and End Users.
Where We Go
Our value added and synergistic sales representation covers: Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Southern IL and into the Southern tip of South Dakota.
What We Do
Here at CPTS Midwest we use a consultative selling approach to ensure our customers and manufacturers expectations are fulfilled. As an added value we commonly stock electric motors, conveyor components, belting, chain and bearings at our Central Texas & South Texas warehouses.
We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team, who will have the opportunity to consult with company leadership, assist the team in developing new sales strategies and participate in networking events that will further promote our products. The ideal candidate will be skilled at presenting our products to clients and effective in generating leads, and will work well as part of a team while also maintaining individual responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively initiate contact with potential customers and develop relationships that advance company's goals.
- Present company's product portfolio to existing and potential customers to increase sales.
- Develop, implement, and communicate sales strategies to achieve sales quotas and meet customer's needs.
- Provide training to new and existing sales representatives to ensure they are up-to-date on company products, technical knowledge, and policies.
- Negotiate pricing with customers.
- Seek out and understand customer's business challenges and provide solutions that drive business growth.
- Communicate product solutions to different audiences across the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
