Position: Intelligence Analyst

The Intelligence Analyst *position *is critical in achieving the objectives within the National Security Services (NSS) mission of providing high-quality and effective security services. The mission of the Intelligence Services Program is to collect, correlate, and analyze environmental data to identify and assess physical and abstract threats to the Kaiser Permanente organization, to facilitate strategic planning and tactical response, investigate threat management and risk mitigation activities to advance the NSS Enterprise Security Plan. This document outlines the roles, responsibilities, deliverables, and performance expectations for this position.
Position Description: The Intelligence Analyst reports directly to the Intelligence Services Manager and is responsible for supporting Regional Intelligence Lead Analysts. This position will be accountable for regional-level intelligence activities, including collating, analyzing, and reporting incidents and trends of local and regional interests that may contain sensitive proprietary information, as well as formulating and communicating recommendations as requested by the customer. Intelligence activities include special intelligence projects designated by the Director and executive stakeholders. The Intelligence Analyst will develop intelligence briefings and adhere to program guidelines and policies. The intelligence analyst will advise on intelligence trends throughout Kaiser Permanente markets to support project management in implementing intelligence-based initiatives.
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Conducting investigative support and build individual threat profiles in support of regional cases.
· Provide analysis for special intelligence projects in support of market leadership, including incident impact analysis and monitoring.
· Support the rollout of new or updated intelligence platform capabilities, including the conversion of intelligence products to newly introduced formats.
· Integrate new intelligence capabilities into existing intelligence products in support of market operations.
· Reinforce local initiatives within a determined market as determined by program leadership.
· Leverage threat intelligence monitoring platform(s) to centralize data, simplify investigations, and manage security threats used to help leaders make informed decisions.
· Process threat monitoring information using technology to create reports based on social media collections depicting national sentiment impacting NSS Enterprise Services.
· Assist Regional Intelligence Lead Analysts with providing background checks on persons of interest identified by stakeholders as potential threats directed towards KP staff and or assets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $135,000.00 per year
