The position:
A Nano Magic Production Associate will be varied in tasks and duties. Responsibilities will include general warehouse activities, handling and application of freight materials, quality control, running the bottle filling machine and helping to ensure the machine is operating as it should, cleaning and preparing containers for fulfillment, stacking and piling goods into the correct containers and preparing them for shipment. All job duties are tasks that the associate will be cross trained on and will rotate on a regular schedule.
Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Moving materials with a pallet jack
- Inspects/examines products to verify conformance to company standards
- Clean and prepare containers for packing
- Packing bottles into cartons
- Re-palletizing bulk and cases of finished product, strapping and stretch wrapping finished pallets
- Operating machinery, including: bottle labeler, hand labeler and bottle dip station
- Stack and pile finished goods into containers
- Remove completed or defective products or materials
- Seal and label containers
- Review packing lists
- Mark and label containers
- Prepare goods for shipment
- Record measurement, weight, and product count
- Keep track of inventory/ counting
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to use good judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with company regulations and standards
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and movement of the entire body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Must be able to frequently perform carrying of freight weighing 1 pound to 25 pounds of varying size and shape a distance of at least 1 foot but usually no more than 50 feet
- Must be able to use hands and arms to stack and maneuver product of freight weight as much as 25 pounds. This could involve moving cases to and from floor level to pallets or platforms that are over three feet high, stowing cartons or other merchandise overhead that weigh as much as 25 pounds each
- Standing and/or sitting for long periods
- Punctuality and regular attendance are mandatory
