LabCorp is seeking a Customer Service Support Representative to join our team. This position will work with clients needing forensic, regulated, or pre-employment drug testing services to ensure that all client needs are addressed accurately and efficiently. The Customer Service Support Representative will provide product education and handle a wide variety of questions while ensuring a world-class customer experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Customer Service and motivated to work with a customer centric team in an innovative company.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
Work Location: 1225 North East 2nd avenue, Portland OR
Job Responsibilities:

Act a liaison between LabCorp, third party collection sites, the customer base and donors
- Resolve routine customer requests with products or services via inbound/outbound calls, or the Internet

Ensure actions, procedures, and resolutions are in compliance with chain of custody drug testing and maintain legal defensibility

Communicate effectively, clearly and timely about issues that may delay testing and results

Work with external parties to help resolve any barrier to testing and release of results

Use Laboratory Information System (LIMS) as needed to assist customer’s needs

Speak with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using protocol procedures

Inquire, clarify, and confirm customer requirements and understanding of the solution

Provide additional customer education and information as needed

Qualify and establish inbound new customers requesting LabCorp's products and services

Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions
Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree highly desired

Excellent multitasking abilities required

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required

Proficient with computer use and quick to learn new software required

Experience in the drug testing industry, such as pre-employment or regulated drug testing, is preferred

Experience with chain of custody drug testing is preferred

Must be courteous with strong customer service orientation

Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent ability to listen and respond

Strong flexibility and the ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly

Previous experience in a customer service role and/or contact/call center environment is preferred

Experience with printing, scanning and faxing is preferred

Experience with Laboratory Information Systems is preferred

Basic understanding of drug testing procedures and associated science is a plus
