We are seeking a detail-oriented Call Center Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication skills and the ability to transcribe and analyze information accurately. This position involves interacting with callers, providing information, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
- Listen to callers' concerns and address them effectively
- Transcribe accurate messages and relay them to the appropriate recipient
- Analyze caller information to determine the best course of action
- Utilize phone systems efficiently to handle a high volume of calls
- Provide phone triage when necessary
- Maintain a polite and professional phone etiquette at all times
- Negotiate solutions with callers to resolve issues promptly
Experience:
1. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age by the stated date of employment.
2. Attains and maintains State of Tennessee certification through approved training for public safety dispatchers on the National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/Tennessee Information Enforcement Systems (TIES)/National Law Enforcement. Telecommunications Systems (NLETS) within two days after completion of training.
3. Must not have been convicted of or pleaded guilty to or entered a plea of nolo contendere to any felony charge or to any violation of any federal or state laws or city ordinances relating to force, violence, theft, dishonesty, gambling, liquor or controlled substances.
4. For those who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States, the type of release/discharge must be “honorable.” those who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States, type of release/discharge must be “honorable”.
5. High school graduate or equivalent. Geographical knowledge of the City of Memphis is preferred.
6. Must be able to work various shifts and weekends.
