The Helper position learns and aids the Jr Mechanic/Mechanic with day-to-day tasks such as digging, pipe fitting, handling/using machinery, the installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of all aspects of plumbing/heating systems and equipment
● Has little to no experience with plumbing work
● Assists with the carrying of tools, setting up tools and organizing pipes and fittings, keeping the jobsite neat and organized
● Relays any questions or concerns to their Jr. Mechanic/Mechanic
● Follows safety procedure and guidelines
● Does not finalize decisions
● Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
● Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs
