Job Title: Escrow Assistant
Duties:
- Assist Escrow Officers in managing real estate transactions and ensuring smooth closing processes.
- Review contracts and prepare necessary documents for escrow transactions.
- Coordinate with lenders, buyers, sellers, and real estate agents to gather required information and documentation.
- Conduct title searches and obtain necessary insurance policies.
- Prepare settlement statements and assist with fund disbursements.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and update databases as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Skills:
- Proficient in Qualia system.
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating financial figures and conducting basic math calculations.
- Knowledge of escrow procedures, real estate contracts, and title insurance.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders.
Note: Prior title experience is required.
