Cell Therapy GMP Specialist I, II, III (1st Shift)
- First Shift, Mon-Fri (occasionally weekends)
- $28.85 – $33.65 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary:
- You will create hope for cancer patients
- Work in a clean room environment to create cell and gene therapy drug products with a friendly team
Responsibilities:
- Proper clean room gowning in accordance with work instructions and industry standards
- Carefully read and accurately follow work instructions
- Accurately perform activity in compliance with established work instructions and quality standards
- Properly fill out forms (such as Batch Records) with 100% accuracy to ensure traceability of the drug product to key aspects of the manufacturing process is present
- Correctly follow work instructions to complete various manufacturing steps, which will typically occur with various equipment and will require you to accurately document your activities
- Consistently undertake all activities in the work instructions that are required to properly make each drug product, day in and day out, drug product after drug product
- Perform line clearance and be able to explain its rationale to others
- Recognize problems in workmanship quickly and know how to take corrective measures or who to go to when seeing such problems
- Perform other production related duties as required, including cleaning/maintenance of the clean room area (CEA)
- Participate in cleaning, maintenance and monitoring of equipment and non-CEA work environments
- Work within established safety procedures
- Be capable of taking a lead role periodically
- Proactively build successful and productive relationships with colleagues
Qualifications:
- Experience performing cell culture
- 2+ years of experience in a clean room manufacturing environment
- Strong manual dexterity
- Can easily work with little supervision
- Can lead a shift on occasion with confidence and competence
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- High level of concentration and takes satisfaction in performing tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
- Can easily read and interpret work instructions with a high level of accuracy
- Can easily fill out forms accurately and clearly, including batch records
- Easily able to notice mistakes and defects in workmanship
- Can easily anticipate problems before they occur
- Understands basic line clearance and its rationale
- Ability to communicate with all levels of staff clearly and do so professionally
- Can easily use tools and equipment
