Job Description:
National Account Analyst is responsible for supporting the National Account team with in store and online activities of the National Accounts. This position will assist in activities such as order processing, item setup in key retailer portals, chargeback minimization, etc.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide internal support and collaboration with Import, Demand Planning, Accounting, Distribution, EDI, Engineering, Product Management and Sales team to ensure Vendor Compliance in accordance with National Account Vendor Relationship Initiatives including, but not limited to, Ship Complete, Ship On-Time, Cross Dock, Allocation, Drop Ship and Invoice Compliance.
- Ensure EGI brand image and product content is accurate and compelling to incite consumer purchases
- Collaborate with cross functional departments including Product Management, Sales, Social Media and Marketing teams to develop content and digital assets for creating a world class consumer experience across all National Account platforms.
- Quickly initiate corrective actions when necessary to ensure a positive customer experience across National Account sites.
- Assist with daily and weekly performance reporting that includes various analytics and KPIs designed to illustrate the overall performance of National Accounts.
- Navigate customer portals to effectively manage daily work flow associated with order processing, new product launches, item setup and item maintenance related tasks
- Interpret and present reports as requested by Internal Sales & Customer Service teams. This may include year-to-year comparison of dollars and sales by item and/or by National Accounts to determine performance
- Support Sales and Customer Service teams in managing overall needs of business. Responsibilities include but not limited to written correspondence, conflict resolution, price quotes, and cost analysis.
- Serve on various project teams that support National Account initiatives
- Develop a strong working relationship with all levels of the organization to ensure clear and effective communication regarding all activity related to National Accounts
- Interpret and present reports as requested by Internal Sales & Customer Service teams. This may include year-to-year comparison of dollars and sales by item and/or by National Accounts to determine performance
- May initiate cross-functional team meetings and conference calls to review assigned Vendor Compliance report cards and updates to Vendor Manuals as needed.
- Ensure complete and on-time order fulfillment, chargeback minimization, and operations metrics compliance
- Performs related additional assignments as required.
Education & Experience:
- Associates degree preferred (Business, Communications, Marketing, or related area of study)
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems
- Experience with uploading e-commerce product catalogs on key retailer sites including but not limited to Amazon, Home Depot, Wal-Mart and Lowes
- Knowledge of retail/e-commerce requirements including key word search, compliance, campaign buildouts, bid optimizations, reporting, margin analyses
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly skilled at manipulating data in Excel.
- High degree of initiative
- Ability to manage and mine large amounts of data from multiple inputs
- Process and detail-oriented with aptitude to learn quickly
- Understanding of Customer Service and Sales principles
- Collaborative and willing to work across teams in a fast paced environment with many unknown variables
