QC Tech
Duties:
Implementing and adhering to the QC program at the manufacturing site. Conducting quality control checks and recording the proper information. Verifying sanitation activities· Performs all duties in accordance with personnel and company policies, safety policies and procedures, and, any other established policies and procedures: Utilizes working materials efficiently and effectively.
Understands and complies with GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety procedures. Skills/Qualifications: Bakery production experience a plus Must have a strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Food Safety/HACCP·
Experience with FSMA and GFSI preferred
SHIFTS: 2ND and OVERNIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE (will train for up to 30 days on 1st shift)
Ability to communicate (read, write and speak English) bilingual Spanish preferred, but not necessary.
Ability to communicate with employees of all levels in a clear and professional manner.
Degree: Associate in food science or related field preferred OR 2 consecutive years of experience in FOOD FACILITY experience.
Excellent problem solving skills and detail oriented.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
