The mission of the National Security Division (NSD) is to carry out the Department's highest priority: to combat terrorism and other threats to national security. The Infrastructure Support and Software Development Services division provides all IT services necessary to support the NSD's Infrastructure & Operations as well as Software Development, Engineering, and Service Desk.
This individual participates in requirements gathering and analysis activities, plans and organizes development of required system documentation, prepares and delivers written and oral communications, and develops training materials. Applies process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects. Duties include activity and data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices; creating and assessing performance measurements. Provides group facilitation, interviewing, training and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide analysis and documentation of business processes, software development requirements, and taxonomies; technical writing and documentation experience pertaining to any aspect of automatic data processing.
- Develop functional requirements and data elements for complex integrated ADP systems; gathering requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis; and preparing applicable Government and industry research technical documentation and standards
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies to include planning, standups, demonstrations and retrospectives. Manage Agile artifacts to include product backlog and scrum notes.
REQUIRED:
· 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in a software development environment
· Demonstrated professional experience with: analysis and documenting of business processes, software development requirements, and taxonomies; technical writing and documentation experience pertaining to any aspect of automatic data processing.
· Desired Experience: Experience developing functional requirements and data elements for complex integrated systems; gathering requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis; and preparing applicable Government and industry research technical documentation and standards.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Active Top Secret, required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
