**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.
**Duties:**
- Prepare prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Measure medication quantities accurately for dispensing
- Label and package prescriptions
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
- Assist in the management of patient records and insurance claims

**Skills:**
- Proficiency in medical terminology and pharmacy calculations
- Strong knowledge of aseptic technique for medication preparation
- Experience with IV infusion and inhalation medications
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital or critical care setting
- Excellent patient care skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with medication administration processes
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician
