Position Summary
Showroom Administrator needs to be an individual who can support the manager and sales effort in achieving and surpassing all tasks and goals. Provide the highest level of customer service to both clients as well as Showroom Sales, while being responsible for all profits data entry and order processing. Facilitate both accounts payable and receivable. Individual must be self-motivated and able to respond to multiple, changing priorities as well as actively support the Showroom Manager. The administrator must be committed to brand integrity and possess good judgment, a positive outlook, flexibility, and a sense of humor. This individual must act in part with the showroom team to ensure that all tasks and goals are achieved and surpassed.
Position Details

Acting as primary administrator for profit system. All order entry and maintenance for system. Ensuring that all data entry is accurate and procedures are followed. Ensuring clients' specifications are accurately transferred to both Profits & SAP. Proofing orders and confirmations. Assisting in follow-up of such orders thru life of sale. Provide status updates and assist in collecting balance dues and confirming delivery of product.
- As directed, sales support ranging from answering telephones and assisting with quotes to entry of all orders in Profits to conducting weekly status checks of all open orders.

Assistant to Showroom Manager. Support to Showroom Sales.

Accurate and timely completion of all required reporting for accounting department.

Maintenances of physical order paperwork.

Placement and follow-up for all showroom displays and 3rd party vendor orders.
- Vendor customer service and support. Fielding all Accounts Payable inquiries.

Interface with manager, administrator and CSR to facilitate order process.

Under direction of manager, actively track sales volume to achieve sales goals.

Assisting in daily maintenance of showroom floor, (furniture placement, display, tagging, housekeeping).

Assisting in annual inventory, price increases, sample sales, special events and other showroom events/tasks.

Maintain traffic reports.

Maintenance of catalog, price pages, sampling and sample areas.
Position Requirements

High School degree or equivalent, higher education a plus.

Administration and/or clerical background required; a furniture and/or design background is preferred.

Excellent people and communication skills.

Organization, accuracy, and memory skills necessary.

Basic office computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel required, above average typing skill, knowledge of a POS system a plus.
