The Franconia Inn is looking for a versatile team member to help us in our Pub, dining room, and kitchen. We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced bartenders and servers and a part time prep cook to serve guests in our charming and fun pub and/or to help serve dinner in our dining room. Ideally, this team member could help prep salads, desserts, and dinner items before service. It could be a very versatile, changing position for someone who likes a little bit of everything food and beverage related.
Responsibilities
- Overall kitchen experience
- Help prepare dinner items
- Set up bar for evening service
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar and dinner menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Assist with kitchen closing after service
Skills
- Working experience as a bartender and/or server/ or prep cook
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks and food in casual setting
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Kitchen prep work experience and interest preferable
- Team player
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 35 per week
