Looking for Legal Assistant, handling legal processes for workflow management system- Internal Tool. Phone work is involved. Primary focus would be on handling legal processes. Will be taking calls as needed. Very busy work always will have work to do
- • Eligible to obtain government clearance
- • Exposure- law enforcement, legal documents and process
- • Security level clearance- time process- there are certain phrases, will handle them
Responsibility
- • Court Order Compliance group support – The incumbent will work within the Court Order Compliance group. Please note this is a high-volume environment.
- • Job function includes data entry of legal process into our workflow management system.
- • Confidentiality and attention detail are a must. We want this person to work independently and be able to problem solve issues. Utilize sound judgement.
- • An understanding of and willingness to learn about basic legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures
- • Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes. This includes a combination of data entry of legal process into our workflow management system and handling calls.
- • Strong customer service or dispatch like experience for handling high call volumes of a dynamic nature
- • Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
- • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
- • Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team lead/supervisor for resolution
Required Skills
- • Eligible to obtain government clearance
- • Phone work with law enforcement
- • Should have call handling exp- like 911 and all, and text messages- this is secondary
- • Exp as a legal aid would work great
- • Exp with High volume customer service
- • Data entry experience
- • Typing speed- not specific but all should be systematic
- • The ability to work independently
- • Accuracy and Attention to detail
- • Proficient typing and transcription
- • Computer and technical skills
- • Organizational and time management abilities
- • Administrative skills, copying, filing, sorting, mail distribution
- • Strong Communication Skills (written and verbal)
- • Commitment to working as part of team
