CNC Machinist
Growing, prestigious, established leader in the machining industry has an opportunity for experienced CNC Machinist. The qualified individual will be responsible for set-up, and operation of a twin spindle lathe and/or a Swiss screw machine. The steady growth of our company has created the demand for an individual who can step in and immediately handle both machines. We specialize in machining many different custom parts with high product quality.

Essential Duties:
- Set-up and operation of twin spindle lathe and a Swiss screw machine
- Managing material needs to ensure smooth workflow and timely job completion
- Read G&M code
- Quality Control parts and use measuring equipment
- Troubleshoot instances of system malfunctions, interruptions and failures
- Maintenance and adjustments of machines and related equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, work orders and machining instructions for operational sequence
- Completion of daily job scheduling reports
- Developing, monitoring, and enforcing safety standards and procedures
Essential Requirements:
- Two (2) plus years of experience with set up and operation of a twin spindle lathe and a Swiss screw machine
- Experience in a job shop environment
- High School Diploma or GED is Required
- Programming is a plus
- Tool Graduate from an accredited Technical School is preferred
- Experience making high quality and tight tolerance parts
- Ability to make changes per customers requests
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Effective communication with co-workers, managers and customers
