JOB TITLE: Young Adults Ministry Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Calvary Young Adults
REPORTS TO: Director of Young Adults
STATUS: Hourly Non-Exempt
HOURS: Full Time (40 Hours)

You’ll do this by creating engaging small groups, intentional discipleship, preaching, college partnerships, empowering and mobilizing leaders in our church and community. You will:
- Reach, establish, and develop college campus relationships in order to help to create community and discipleship opportunities for college students (groups, adaptive groups, etc.)
- Equip the next generation of church leaders by connecting young adults to church-wide opportunities
- Own the internship program at Calvary and plug young adults into various internship opportunities across our church
- Collaborate with Outreach team to engage young adults with outreaches, evangelism, and mission opportunities in our community
- Assist with different ministry’s responsibilities upon request (i.e. teaching in youth ministry, serving in various ministries on weekends, etc.)
- Oversee the transition of high school seniors into Young Adults Ministry (includes mentoring)
- Work collaboratively with other ministry teams
- Perform other department-related tasks as needed
You have:
- Proper skills in the area of public speaking
- The ability to gather and lead large groups
- The ability to lead and develop a staff team
- The ability to lead, develop and empower volunteer team
- The ability to vision cast
- The ability to create strategy to accomplish vision
- The ability to counsel
- The ability to work with confidential information in a trustworthy manner
- Good time management skills
- The ability to handoff specific duties
- The ability to create content for groups
- The ability to mobilize staff and volunteer team to the larger vision and mission of Calvary
What you are required to know:
- We are an EEO employer.

- This is a full-time (40 hours/week) hourly non-exempt position.
- You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.

Work Schedule:
Staff culture is important to what we do. To love like family, we require all staff to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and serve with a willing heart especially at all major campus events.
