Currently seeking experienced apartment maintenance techs for temporary job assignments in the Baltimore Metro area. Experienced, qualified candidates will have apartment maintenance experience, construction, plumbing, electrical work. HVAC experience and or EPA certified a plus. Must have own tools to bring to job and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities of the Apartment Maintenance Technician
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry and painting
- Responsible for repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
- Provide excellent customer service to client, residents and other staff members
- Respond to resident service requests in an accurate and timely manner
- Make ready units for new move-ins
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program annually
- Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping
- Coordinate special projects as directed
Requirements of the Apartment Maintenance Technician
- HVAC Certification a Plus!
- A minimum of 6 months maintenance experience at an apartment community or the like
- Have a working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems a plus!
- Valid Driver's License or access to reliable transportation
- Pass a Background Check
- Reliable Transportation
- Have the necessary basic tools to effectively complete tasks outlined above
