Job Description:
The Director of Donor Education & Content Production at Giving Compass has a pivotal role in overseeing the content strategy, production, and partnership management. This role will lead the donor education strategy and execution, collaborate with the product development team, and ensure that the Giving Compass voice and values are consistently represented across all communications and platforms. This comprehensive role combines strategic oversight with hands-on content creation and management, ensuring that Giving Compass' mission and values are effectively communicated across all platforms and channels, with a strong emphasis on donor education and the integration of graphic design and video production.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Education Strategy & Management:
Develop and execute a comprehensive donor education strategy based on company values, goals, and metrics across the website, social media, newsletters, and partner sites.
Research trending topics, identify content gaps and analyze site metrics to plan the annual donor education calendar.
Determine site placement, featured article schedules, publishing cadence, and promotion strategies for donor education content and curated materials.
Maintain and update content taxonomy to ensure efficient organization and discoverability of educational resources.
Monitor metrics to improve site traffic, engagement, and conversions.
Track SEO and develop strategies to grow organic traffic, incorporating insights into all Giving Compass offerings.
Collaborate with the philanthropy team to identify nonprofits/funds for editorial calendar topics and support partner funds/nonprofit projects.
Content Production:
Write, design, and edit topic guides, special coverage, podcasts/live streams, and curated content focused on donor education.
Create and curate educational materials and resources that inform and engage donors.
Write and review UX copy such as pop-ups, promo banners, and landing pages.
Oversee assignments for content contractors and facilitate internal communications.
Salary range: $105,000-$120,000, Excellent benefits and flexible remote work policies, including Half-Day Fridays year-round
