Will Do*
Dishwashers report to the Kitchen Manager and Head Chef, and are responsible for the following:
Kitchen Management Activities
* Load and unload dishwashing machines
* Wash specific larger items by hand (e.g. large pots and pans, cutting boards)
* Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately
* Set up workstations before meal prep begins
* Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours
* Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues
* Remove garbage regularly
* Regularly sanitizes kitchen surfaces throughout the day; Assists in daily deep cleaning of specific areas in the kitchen, e.g., floors, counters, overs, stoves, fridges, etc.
* Identify any safety or health concerns immediately to the Directors.
* Close the kitchen after camp ends on July 31, 2024.

* Previous experience as a dishwasher in a camp, restaurant, or similar high-volume setting preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-energy environment.

* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of a summer camp kitchen.
* ServSafe certification or equivalent is required.

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
