Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities:
Manage, stabilize, and help improve the health of persons with chronic and acute medical conditions. This includes health planning and collaboration with doctors and other members of the medical team. Perform independent treatments including wound care, G Tube, J Tube, Trach, and changing of catheters, including indwelling and straight catheter. Administration of IV antibiotics when required. Supervise and ensure Residential Health Aides follow doctor’s orders and oversee the care of persons served. Supervise and monitor medication administration. Update, chart, and monitor MARS and daily health progress notes. Train staff on specific medications, and illnesses and provide other forms of health education as needed. The working environment is in a group home setting.
- Must be prompt, reliable, and compassionate.
- Must submit to and be able to pass DHS background check.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Must have a current and clean nursing license, registered with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
- One to two YEARS OF CRITICAL CARE EXPERIENCE preferred.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
