As part of our Quality team, good is never good enough. Ford Quality shares your passion for striving for perfection. We’re responsible for driving continuous improvement efforts that enable Ford to deliver the highest quality products and services. Work cross functionally and closely with integrated teams in Manufacturing, Product Development, Purchasing and Supplier Technical Assistant.
In this position...
Interface with suppliers -incoming quality issues, root cause analysis, closure of 8D’s, chargeback information, coordinate part sorts and some supplier visits.
Some qualified candidates may be considered for other Quality Department Roles based on experience and personal strengths. Other potential position assignment may include Internal Auditing, Quality Analyst and QOSC Process Coach.
Grade level of position is GSR6-8 (promotion eligible)
You'll have...
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Quality Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in accomplishing tasks and objectives
- Proven problem-solving ability
- Previous Incoming Quality Supervision
- Microsoft Office Knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
Even better, you may have...
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of Quality
- Previous automotive and quality analysis experience
