If you are a Florida-licensed attorney, a stay-at-home parent, or in partial retirement and are looking for a way to keep your mind sharp and make some extra money with relatively little stress and without having to go to court, our PART-TIME ATTORNEY position could be perfect for you.
Our law firm is positioned as Florida's Premier Residential Construction Law Firm for Homeowners. We help homeowners before, during, and after their custom home builds and major home renovation projects go sideways in terms of time, money, and quality of work. This is a niche within the construction law niche that we are currently set to dominate through value-added services and creative billing models. The firm is on track for aggressive growth, and we need an experienced attorney to join our team to handle a very specific type of matter that is fueling the firm's growth and profitability.
This work can be performed from anywhere, but you MUST be licensed to practice law in Florida. The role involves client contact, drafting letters and pleadings based largely on templates and from information obtained during the client's onboarding call, supervising a paralegal's work product, negotiating on behalf of homeowners with contractors or other lawyers, and dealing with various regulatory agencies. All of this work is pre-suit. If these matters end up in litigation, we have a litigation team that steps in and takes over the matter.
