Primary Purpose/Function:
Under immediate supervision, assists in various school program functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. May assist with the supervision of students in the lunchroom, on the playground, and in the office.
2. May assist in the maintenance of the physical environment of the school
3. May perform routine clerical tasks such as filing, answering the telephone, etc.
4. May compile information and/or data for reports.
5. May log information on forms to record the transaction.
6. Operates standard office equipment.
7. Conforms to safety standards as prescribed.
8. Assists with car line before and/or after school as needed.
9. Ensures the privacy of any confidential information obtained during office duties.
10. Performs other tasks related to the position as assigned.
Involves the performance of tasks associated with such programs as, but not limited to:
1. Student Information Systems (Infinite Campus if needed)
2. Lunchroom
3. Playground
4. School office

Education, Training, and Experience:
High school graduation or another equivalent, (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.).
Substitute Teaching License preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Strength: Sedentary/Medium - Exert force to 50 lbs., occasionally; 10-25 lbs., frequently; up to 10 lbs., constantly; or negligible amounts of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
Physical Demands: Frequent sitting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling and repetitive fine motor activities, talking, and hearing. Mobility to work in a typical office setting and use standard office equipment. Hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone. Vision: Frequent near acuity and occasional far acuity. Vision to read printed materials, and other monitoring devices.
Environmental Conditions: Climate-controlled office setting with temperatures ranging from mild to extreme cold/heat. Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud for occasional to frequent time periods.
Hazards: Furniture, playground/office equipment, communicable diseases, chemicals (as related to specific assignment),
and power/hand-operated equipment and machinery (as related to specific assignment).

Various computers, printers, telephones, calculators, copy machines, fax machines, filing cabinets/equipment, etc.
