Great Lakes Roofing Corp is immediately hiring a Material Handler to join our Crew in Germantown, WI.
Position Purpose and Objectives
Out Material Handling Crew works as a team to complete warehouse tasks and material (un)loading. This position supports operations by safely and efficiently transporting materials and supplies to job sites across Wisconsin. Warehouse duties combine with on-the-road time to create a diverse, hands-on work experience.

Qualifications of Material Handler - delivery / driver:

Class A-CDL
-
Work 8- to 12-hour shifts in all weather, indoors and OUT
-
Communicate in a respectful manner and receive feedback

Ability to lift up to 50lbs. repeatedly
-
No fear of heights or climbing ladders
-
An interest in learning the ropes and taking on additional roles and responsibilities

Responsibilities of Material Handler - delivery / driver::

Maintain a safe and clean warehouse

Be on time for all shifts and ready to go at the assigned time
- Loading and Unloading trailers in the yard with a forklift

Accurately account for materials incoming and outgoing from warehouse.

Participate in training:
-
Participate in weekly safety meetings.
-
Attend companywide training events.
-
As needed, acquire master rigging or crane team responsibilities.

Participate in all other training as assigned.

Deliver excellent quality and customer satisfaction.

Learn to perform work according to company standards.

Collaborate with the team for the benefit of all.

Requirements of Material Handler - delivery / driver::
Forklift – and the ability to safely execute tasks
Safety – the ability to meet safety standards with a goal of zero incidents, use equipment and materials properly and effectively
Productivity – the ability to work quickly and accurately, self-manage, collaborate with the Crew and keep pace
Flexibility – the ability to adjust to changes in schedules, job sites, tasks and priorities throughout each day based on customer needs, fluctuations in weather, etc.

Benefits and Pay for Material Handler - delivery / driver:
Hourly wages start between $25.00- $27.00 per hour, depending on experience
Earnings are paid weekly
Paid Training; opportunities for increased skills=raises
