About the Role- BARTENDER
As a Bartender at HaSalon, you will have the exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in mixology while providing impeccable service to our discerning guests. Your primary responsibility will be to craft exceptional cocktails and beverages, ensuring that every drink is an artful creation that enhances the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and offering personalized recommendations
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is in proper working order
Prepare and present beverages in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to quality standards
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and seamless service
About the Role - BARBACK
As a Barback at HaSalon, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our bar area. Your primary responsibility will be to support the bartenders by assisting with the preparation of beverages, ensuring the bar is well-stocked, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the exceptional service we provide to our valued guests.
Responsibilities:
Assist bartenders in preparing and garnishing beverages according to established recipes and standards
Ensure the bar is fully stocked with necessary supplies, such as glassware, garnishes, and mixers
Clean and organize bar equipment and utensils to maintain a sanitary and efficient work area
Replenish beer, wine, and liquor inventory as needed
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after service
Retrieve and deliver drink orders to the serving staff promptly and accurately
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing guest inquiries and concerns
Collaborate with bartenders, servers, and other staff members to maintain a smooth flow of operations
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures
Assist with other duties as assigned by the bar manager or supervisory staff
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Barback or similar role in a high-end restaurant or upscale establishment is preferred
Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and bar equipment
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization
Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift heavy objects
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new ingredients, and mixology techniques
Assist in developing new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink menus
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Handle cash and process transactions accurately
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a bartender in a high-end restaurant or luxury establishment is required
Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails, including classic and contemporary recipes
Excellent mixology skills and the ability to create visually appealing and flavorful beverages
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage with guests and provide personalized recommendations
Ability to work well under pressure and handle a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency in drink preparation
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
