JOB LOCATION: 10353 Richmond Ave., Houston, Texas 77042 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]
Sr. Business Analyst-Supply Chain Systems needed by National Oilwell Varco, L.P. in Houston, Texas [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to be responsible for the global rollout of Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Modules. Work with leaders and business users across the global locations to understand the current process and ERP systems. Work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple tasks to deliver a quality world class ERP to our business users. Apply knowledge of the inner-workings and configuration options of Oracle Cloud modules to deliver best practices, integrated, efficient and effective solution which complies with all appropriate policy, regulation, and legislation requirements. Apply understanding of the big picture from a global design perspective. Help address and resolve business issues. Gather requirements, create design documents, and perform impact analysis for application changes. Plan and organize tasks, report progress, and manage and coordinate with consultants for implementations. Develop solutions to leverage Oracle applications functionality for the Oracle Supply Chain Suite of Modules. Interpret and convert data based on business requirements and shepherd the date for delivery. Work with existing systems to track and manage issues and enhancement opportunities. Create test plans, test cases, test scripts, and perform functional testing. Understand and modify the Application Configuration as required including system setups, flex-fields, profile options, etc. Conduct user sessions for requirement and testing. Lead design and solution workshops to build an end to end supply chain solution using Oracle cloud and other tools. Analyze Oracle cloud new releases for enhancements and bug fixes and implement the enhancements after testing. Rollout Oracle Cloud for specific number of locations in phase-by-phase manner. Research ways to identify those that can best help serve the needs of the business. Guide technical team based on the functional design and how technical team should proceed with the technical design and development. Communicate effectively with all levels of users. Utilize Oracle EBS Functional, Agile, Waterfall, SQL Developer, SOA Integrations, and Enterprise Data Warehouse Management. Apply understanding of Oracle Cloud application's architecture, data structures, and functionality.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Information Technology and two years of experience in the job offered or two years of experience in a related occupation leading design and solution workshops to build an end-to-end supply chain solution using Oracle cloud and other tools; utilizing Oracle EBS Functional, Agile, Waterfall, SQL Developer, SOA Integrations, and Enterprise Data Warehouse Management; and applying understanding of Oracle Cloud application's architecture, data structures, and functionality.
