They are responsible for TE's training and development strategy, ensuring skills and capabilities of employees meet the organization's current and future needs. They develop, implement and evaluate training activities to meet TE's competitive position requirements, and are responsible for mentoring and training programs to establish a diverse and inclusive culture.
What you will be doing…
As the Global Employee Experience Manager you will play a crucial role in building an effective organization where employees can thrive. You will be responsible for taking insights from stakeholders at all levels, to design and deploy strategies that will increase engagement, inclusion, wellbeing, and leader effectiveness. This role will also provide expert talent management support to the Communications Solutions segment and Corporate Functions
As the Manager, Talent Management, a typical day may include:
- Collaborating with an HR Business Partner on organizational design to enable future headcount growth
- Guiding HR and managers in driving the assessment and development of talent to ensure we have a strong succession pipeline
- Analyzing organizational structures, capabilities, processes, and relationships, and implementing changes to increase organizational effectiveness.
- Advising an internal client on the design of an ad-hoc employee survey to ensure their outcomes are met and best-practice design is followed
- Meeting with the project team you are heading to deliver a fit-for-purpose onboarding program and holding them accountable for making progress, whilst keeping them inspired by their purpose
- Advising a peer on how to incorporate insights from our latest employee survey into the process they are re-designing
- Writing a communication to managers on how to build the resilience of their team and maintain their wellbeing
