Automotive Parts Manager
Team Auto Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Parts Manager to oversee our parts department operations. The ideal candidate will manage inventory, lead staff, and ensure excellent customer service while maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast department goals and strive to meet them
- Hire, train, and manage parts department staff
- Prepare and administer annual operating budget
- Maintain balanced inventory to meet various customer needs
- Establish pricing strategies to ensure profitability and customer loyalty
- Manage inventory levels for optimal turnover and minimize obsolescence
- Develop and administer wholesale parts program
- Collaborate with service and body shop managers for efficient operations
- Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory to maintain profit goals
- Ensure high-quality service to both internal and external customers
- Conduct weekly department meetings and attend management meetings
- Handle customer complaints promptly and effectively
- Enforce safety requirements and comply with relevant regulations
- Develop sales promotions and utilize manufacturer co-op advertising
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in automotive parts management or related field
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficient in mathematical calculations and inventory management
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- Familiarity with relevant software and inventory management systems

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
