This position, along with the branch team lead position, provides leadership for the branch in all areas of operations so that our members can be given a very high level of service while ensuring that all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
- Directly responsible for hiring, training and ongoing development of branch staff.
- Ensure all branch staff are able to assist members in a professional, courteous, efficient manner while accurately executing transactions, account file maintenance, opening or closing accounts, inputting or processing a loan application, and completing IRA documents etc.
- Plan and manage branch strategy to ensure all goals and metrics are met.
- Capable of working in and troubleshooting multiple systems, build working knowledge on regulations and policies in order to reinforce knowledge with staff, and able to multi task.
- Represent HFCU in a professional manner to all internal and external customers, business partners, community and Honda Companies with a high degree of business ethics.
- Ensure the branch are following all HFCU internal controls as well as policies and procedures.
- Ensure all branch staff have high expectations set for their performance, clarity so that they understand these expectations, and accountability to meet the expectations. Coaching and performance reviews should be performed in a timely manner.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Minimum of three years financial institution experience.
- Commitment to quality member service, ability to handle multiple tasks, decision making skills, self-motivation, oral and written communication skills, professionalism, willingness to assist other employees, strong organizational skills
