As our Residential Lead HVAC Installer, you are confident in your skills and abilities and not afraid to make decisions. With previous experience in the field, you understand that hard work means sacrifices, like working on the weekends sometimes. You are driven and competitive - but not afraid to admit when you don't know something and need help. You're primarily responsible for removing, installing, and starting up new HVAC systems, including ductwork and IAQ products. You will work as a 2-person team, helping to provide guidance to a helper and to ensure timely and accurate service to clients in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform the removal, installation, and startup of new residential HVAC systems
- Work closely with the Install Coordinator and fellow Installation Technicians to provide clients with excellent service as outlined in department policies and procedures
- Maintain a high standard of clean-up before leaving any job site
- Be sure that all necessary touch-up work and clean-up is completed before leaving the job site
- Working as a team with the crew helper to get the job done professionally, efficiently, and in a safe manner
- Request necessary parts and equipment in advance to ensure the installation truck is loaded properly with all materials needed to complete each job
- Responsible for the vehicle upkeep, record logs, and driving of vehicle; valid driver's license required
- Other duties may be assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 2 years of previous Lead Residential Install experience (Required)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to exercise judgement and make appropriate decisions
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
- Ability to work synergistically with crew partner(s), also independently and accurately
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of residential HVAC experience
- Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Previous experience with construction calculations, pressures, temperatures, and measuring square footage for calculations
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to accurately record progress, notes, and instructions in software; utilizing an iPad

The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Compensation & Hours
Starting wage of $24.00- $28.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)
Days: Monday - Friday
