The Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research conducts basic science and translational research within the Department of Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine. The Wells Center houses more than 200 faculty investigators, staff, and trainees seeking answers to the most pressing questions related to childhood illness. With the collaboration between scientists and physicians, the center aims to increase knowledge of causes and mechanisms of serious pediatric diseases. Our goal is to develop innovative approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of sick children in Indiana and beyond.
The Pediatric Cardiac Developmental Biology Research group in the Herman B Wells Center at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis is accepting applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank. Scientific focus should be on Cardiac development, congenital heart disease and/or IPS related cardiac models of differentiation/ cell regeneration.
The scientific environment at the School of Medicine and in Herman B Wells Center for Pediatric Research is highly interactive and collegial with and includes interactions with clinician in the Department of Pediatrics. Further interactions on campus include other Basic Science and Clinical Departments, as well as Research Centers and Institutes.
