- Dynamic entrepreneur seeks experienced PA
to provide support with her personal affairs.
The Role:
This position requires a strong foundation in PA support, a proactive attitude and the ability to manage constantly shifting priorities, including weekly appointments, travel and household management. The ability to preempt the needs of the CEO is critical. Initially this position will be largely focused on personal affairs and household management. Overtime it may develop into working closely and collaboratively with the Business Manager. Some travel could be required. This part-time position may develop into a full-time position.
About You:
The successful candidate is a natural organizer and an effective communicator; is a team player who supports and respects other team members.
Has experience in personal assistance, or in a related job function (e.g. event planning, concierge, or private chef).
This person has the following qualities: punctual, reliable, focused, thinks ahead, is self-directed, dedicated, open-minded and non-judgmental, adapts well to course corrections and frequent changes, has a friendly demeanor, is lighthearted, trustworthy and discrete.
The candidate is a fast learner who has a positive can-do attitude and takes ownership for the results of their work; striving for optimal efficiency.
It is essential to be on-hand and available for last minute requests and to always be available by phone.
Committed to a healthy life-style, capable of participating in an exercise regime with the CEO, as needed. The applicant can lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
The ideal candidate regularly engages in self-reflective practices, i.e. journaling, contemplation, gratitude, meditation, etc.
This individual has the desire and availability to make a long-term commitment (3+ years).

The CEO is committed to a healthy lifestyle. Due to her fast-paced unpredictable work and travel schedule, she expects assistance in securing a regular exercise routine and easy access to healthy food. Thus, the personal assistant not only shares this commitment, but also is comfortable supporting the CEO with her regimen through scheduling, positive encouragement, and food preparation.
Duties Include:
The scope of assistance will vary based on need, and is not limited to the following:
- Manage household, to include:
---- Perform light tidying and laundry duties.
---- Create manuals.
---- Schedule maintenance/repair work.
---- Obtain proposals.
---- Oversee projects.
---- Prepare healthy meals as needed.
---- Supervise housekeeper once per week.
- Manage travel for CEO and others as needed, includes domestic and international.
- Run basic errands, i.e. shopping, dry-cleaning, groceries, and shipping.
- Manage upcoming events and calendars.
- Accompany to meetings or appointments, as needed.
- Submit regular weekly reports.
- Manage online presence, i.e. update social media and professional sites.
- Sell items on Craigslist, Poshmark, Ebay, etc.
- Prepare healthy meals, as needed.
- Cat care to include veterinary appointments, medication administration, and cat-sit, as needed.
- Manage vehicle maintenance scheduling.
- Periodic event Planning.
- Provide transportation for CEO, as needed.
- Perform general clerical skills and correspondence.
Requirements:
- College degree is a plus.
- Experience as PA, or related field, such as concierge, event planner, chef.
- Demonstrates in their own lifestyle that they are committed and enthusiastic about health, fitness and stress management.
- Proficient with all Mac products, Word, Excel, Google Docs and social media posting.
- Proficient with Wunderlist App.
- Strong research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge and skill in Paleocooking is a plus.
- Knowledge of Yoga and meditation.
- Cat-lover.
- Comfortable with assisting in veterinary visits and administering medication is a plus.
- Flexible, on-demand work style.
- Is resilient, practices giving and receiving constructive feedback with a move forward attitude (not hyper-sensitive).
- Willing to travel, when needed.
- Has reliable vehicle.
----Primary location is at 78704. PA must be prepared to drive around Austin area for errands.
This part-time position will be greatly rewarding for an open-minded individual who values excellent and straightforward communication, organization, and relationship building. This position may eventually grow into full-time.
