Job Summary:
Established in 1939, Zoeller Pump Company of Louisville, Kentucky is a proud American and family owned manufacturing business. Zoeller is looking for an experienced/degreed Financial Analyst II.
Duties:
· Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement to support decision-making processes.
· Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgeted and forecasted figures, providing variance analysis and explanations for discrepancies.
· Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to support long-term strategic planning, scenario analysis, and investment decisions. Evaluate the financial impact of various business initiatives and recommend courses of action.
· Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular financial reports and dashboards for senior management and key stakeholders. Present findings and insights in a clear and concise manner, highlighting key performance metrics and areas of concern.
· Strategic Planning: Assist in the development of strategic plans and initiatives by providing financial insights and recommendations. Collaborate with business leaders to assess opportunities, risks, and potential challenges.
· Investment Analysis: Assist in evaluating potential investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. Assist in financial due diligence, assess risk factors, and prepare investment proposals and business cases.
· Cost Management: Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Work with operational teams to implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor results.
· Risk Assessment: Assess financial risks and exposures, including market risks, liquidity risks, and credit risks. Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor risk factors to ensure financial stability.
· Ad Hoc Projects: Support special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
· 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
· Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis techniques.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software applications. Experience in Microsoft Power BI is a plus.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
· Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
