Location: Norwood, NC
Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000 per year

Job Summary
The Equine Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the equine facility, including horse care, stable management, and staff supervision. This role involves managing the health and training programs for horses, ensuring proper maintenance of the facilities, and implementing safety protocols. The successful candidate will ensure a high standard of care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Stable Management: Oversee daily operations of the stables, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment.
- Horse Care: Manage the health, nutrition, and overall well-being of all horses in the facility.
- Training Programs: Develop and supervise training programs for horses and riders.
- Staff Supervision: Lead, train, and manage a team of stable hands, trainers, and other staff members.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure all facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.
- Safety Protocols: Develop and enforce safety protocols for all staff and participants.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7-10+ years of experience in equine management, including overseeing stables and training programs.
- Horse Care: Strong background in horse care and health management.
- Facility Management: Proven experience in managing equine facilities.
- Staff Supervision: Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead a team effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
