SUMMARY
Staff and Direct Sales Team providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Focus on key results in areas including; exceptional customer development skills, establishing and maintaining long term relationships with new customers as well as our existing customer base.
COMPENSATION: Base salary of $50k - $70k, based on experience. Substantial commission opportunities for supplemental pay.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Acquire Sales Analysis of each specific Geographic Area, establish territories and set sales goals by area and customer.
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs sales volume potential and pricing schedules that will meet company goals.
- Establish plans and strategies to expand customer base in the assigned geographic areas.
- Set sales objectives; then plan, organize, direct activity to meet these sales goals.
- Oversee preparation of presentations and proposals to partner with pricing received from estimating. Proposals will be accurate and clearly outline the scope of work, materials and project timeline.
- Maintain CRM data in Centerpoint daily.
- Develop and maintain marketing and sales material and current product knowledge.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or four to six years of related experience in Sales Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluent knowledge of a variety of computer software applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, CenterPoint is a plus.
- Knowledge of office administrative procedures and knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment.
- Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, and customers
- Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Willingness to travel and work with diverse client /customer base

- Attend job walks and prepare takeoff off by measuring, noting all variables of the Roof site. This may require multiple visits to the actual project site.

WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee maybe exposed to outside unsheltered weather conditions and all types of weather for 2-3 hours. The employee could be working in extremely hot or cold temperatures that could range from between 0 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually an office type environment.

- Must be physically able to mount and dismount our ladders.
- Ability to push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work on and climb ladders up to 40 feet tall or scaffolding.
- Ability to keep or regain body balance or stay upright when in an unstable position.
- Ability to use a tar pot, torch, wheel barrel, spud bar, shovel, rake, broom, and tar mops.
- Ability to work in a working environment that is loud and noisy on occasion.
- Ability to work in an environment with fumes, dust, dirt, smoke, gases, grease and oils and solvents.
- Ability to be aware of surrounding area due to working at high levels and with hot products.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow safety practices and procedures used in working on ladders and roofs.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions year round with exposure to excessive heat and cold.
