Front Desk Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Process payments, patient paperwork and handling all phone calls, assuring professional communication between staff and patients, and fostering a spirit of teamwork and pride to work for Plastic Surgery
- Knowledge of all procedures both surgical and non-surgical
- Manage scheduling and assists Patient Coordinator, Practice Manager, Office Administrator and Surgeon, in order to help the Practice run smoothly and efficiently
- Ensures exceptional patient experience for each patient that enters the Practice, in person or via phone, including patients and visitors
- Assist Practice in generating Patient reviews
- Properly checkout patients and next appointment is scheduled and booked
- Conduct confirmation calls for all appointments and update status of appointments and enter notes and communicate appropriately
- Strives to assist Practice in meeting operational and practice goals
- Acts with integrity to maintain patient confidentiality and ensure HIPPA compliance at all times, while maintaining PHI Disclosure records
- Organizes and prepares any filing or correspondence tasks as necessarily assigned
- Ensures Front Desk and lobby are clean and organized at all times
- Performs opening/closing as directed
- Be an integral part of the team and suggest new ideas that would help the practice grow
- Disbursing mail and packages
Required qualifications:
- High attention to detail and accuracy, as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines without supervision
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to work some evening and Saturday hours when necessary
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a must

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
