Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician 1
FLSA Status: Non-Exempted
Department: Sales
Report to (Title): VP, Quality, Service and Compliance
Brief Summary of Position
Effectively perform hands-on inspection functions within a manufacturing environment. Primary duties include visual and dimensional inspections on electrical/mechanical manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies. Parts will be inspected to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications. The technician will be required to report detailed inspection accept/reject information directly. Inspections will be performed on incoming parts and outgoing Service to include Calibrations, Repairs, Evaluations and Retrofits.
Essential Duties of the Position:

Conducts internal and external audits.

Maintains preventive maintenance and calibration schedule.

Receiving, in-process, and final inspection.

Documents and follows up with any non-conformances.

Is part of the MRB team.

Ownership of company ESD policies and procedures. Assures that company remains in compliance.

Owns temperature control and monitoring in assembly areas in accordance with company quality policy.

Provides compliance paperwork as required, COCs, Calibration Certificates, ect.

Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in electrical - mechanical Quality Control position

Working with Microsoft Office products - Excel, Access and Word

Using measuring devices such as Micrometer, Calipers, Pin Gages, etc.

Good computer skills

Internal Auditing Experience, CQI, CQT Certification a plus
