Neuro-Vision Therapy Institute NVTI is a cutting edge Neuro-Optometry medical practice in the Cherry Creek area of Denver, CO. Founded in early 2020, we are a quickly growing team of medical professionals. We specialize in vision therapy and post-concussion rehabilitation that improves how the brain and eyes work together to train, restore and rehabilitate vision.
Who We Are Looking For:
The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is a critical point of contact that interacts with every patient. We are looking for a person that thrives in a social environment and relishes the opportunity to provide a caring, positive patient experience in every encounter. A considerable portion of our patients are being rehabilitated from a traumatic brain injury, making them reliant on the patience, compassion and support from their medical care team. The right person for this role must be passionate about educating people on the services we provide through clear and effective communication. The operations of a medical office entail significant attention to detail. The right person for this role is also very organized with the ability to multitask.
Your Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for new and existing patients including patient inquiries, scheduling, and rescheduling
- Performing opening and closing responsibilities
- Patient intake, form processing and data entry into our electronic health records (EHR) system
- Light cleaning and regular disinfection protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients
- Patient billing, including submissions to insurance companies
- Overseeing company mail, faxes and general email inboxes
- Handling retail inventory including stocking, displaying and reordering
- Participates meetings / projects as requested
Your Experience:
- 1+ years of experience working in a medical office (scheduler, patient care coordination or receptionist) or a call center representative
- Bilingual (Spanish) speaking a huge plus but not required
- The ability to use the Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to regularly changing priorities
- Medical Administrative Assistant Certificate or equivalent preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
