Job Overview:
We are seeking a Deputy Chief Investigator to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Chief Investigator in overseeing the performance of confidential investigative work. This position requires the use of independent judgement in performing confidential inquires of governmental matters.
Duties:
- Search and collection of pertinent facts for such matters as, worker's compensation, employment matters, litigations and freedom of information law requests.
- Conducts inquiries by interviewing witnesses, examining a wide-range of documents, initiating personal inspections and through similar appropriate means.
- Prepare comprehensive reports. The sensitive nature of reports requires that strict confidentiality must be maintained.
- As required, furnish testimony at legal proceedings, formal hearings and other venues.
- May supervise designated clerical staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Possession of an associate degree or higher with major coarse work in Criminal Justice or closely related field
- Ten years of full-time, paid experience in the conduct of investigations, gathering evidence and information for a private or governmental agency, five of those years must have been in a supervisory capacity.
- Valid and current Driver's License issued by New York State Department of Motor Vehicles

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
