Position Summary: Support Human Resources by doing special projects and assisting with general administration regarding payroll, benefits, training and development, legal compliance, and other human resources issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Guide candidates through interview and hiring processes.
· Conducting or helping with new employee orientation and onboarding
· Keeping process paperwork and employment records
· Assistance in writing and maintaining job descriptions for various positions
· Consulting with the employer and identifying employment needs
· Collecting and transposing data in support of business KPIs
· Assist the HR manager in writing company policies and procedures
· Reviewing and auditing HRIS to ensure data accuracy
· Assist the HR manager in employment related issues, discipline, termination, etc.
· Assist with employee engagement and community engagement initiatives
· Arrange and organize company lunches as needed
· Prepare reports and presentations on employment matters including headcount, exit data, compliance, individual reporting requests
· Process employment transactions via HRIS
Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred; high school diploma or GED required
· Two to five years of experience in Human Resources or related field
· Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality and discretion
· Excellent organizational and follow through skills are a must, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to work with various personalities with the upmost professionalism
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be proactive in a fast-paced environment
· Communication skills: Excellent speaking and listening skills to share information effectively, while paying careful attention to concerns and questions from employees and job applicants.
· Decision-making skills: For reviewing applicants’ qualifications and for working to resolve employee disputes.
· Detail-oriented: When ensuring the workplace is compliant with labor standards and when maintaining records regarding employee grievances, performing background checks and reviewing candidate qualifications.
· Interpersonal skills: For interacting with new employees while conversing and connecting with people from various backgrounds and experiences.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
