We are seeking a skilled Dental/Oral Surgery Receptionist to join our team.

Experience with dental insurance claims, statement submission/corrections will be very useful but not mandatory. It is a great position for someone looking to expand their skills while on the job. You will work closely with our team, including our management and the doctors.

All of the following descripiton will be familar to anyone who has worked in the dental field: The Dental Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental or medical office, possess strong organizational skills, and have the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate staff member
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify insurance coverage and collect patient information
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Maintain patient records and update medical history as necessary
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with general office duties such as filing, faxing, and photocopying
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or medical receptionist role preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is a plus
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phone systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.
