Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for two Intellectual Property Transactional Attorneys.
Overview: Our client is seeking experienced IP transactional attorneys to assist their legal team on an overflow basis. As such, this role will be part-time and ongoing.
Company: International company.
Experience: 2-5+ years of experience handling IP transactions, including drafting and redlining a variety of IP agreements.
Location: Fully remote (US).
Responsibilities Include:
- At the direction of IP counsel, draft and review a variety of IP agreements for basic IP transactional matters. Agreements include but are not limited to NDAs, commercial / sourcing agreements, research agreements and a broad range of technology agreements.
- In collaboration with IP specialists, create IP agreement templates and preferred position libraries.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Include:
- 2-5+ years of law firm or in-house experience managing IP transactional matters, including drafting and reviewing transactional IP agreements.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school and license to practice law, in good standing, in any U.S. state required.
- Experience organizing and building template libraries is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to proactively communicate and be responsive when acknowledging assignments and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
- Availability during core business hours.
