The Warehouse and Logistics Facilitator will be responsible for a wide range of supply chain processes including warehouse daily operations, inventory counts, and shipping and receiving. Using our ERP (NetSuite) the Logistics and Warehouse Facilitator will also produce product fulfillments and item receipts, create shipping document paperwork and customer-specific labeling. Obtaining quotes and selecting carriers, this position will also be responsible for coordinating and tracking worldwide logistics and sample tracking. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage various tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Handle all daily warehouse duties that pertain to shipping, receiving, forklift operations, inventory counts, the assembling and deconstruction of pallets, inventory organization and the oversight of machinery maintenance.
- Responsible for timely and accurate inventory management in the Phoenix facility, including KPIs and quality control measures.
- Utilize ERP system (NetSuite) for order fulfillments and item receipts.
- Operate the forklift and pallet jack.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and month end inventories.
- Creating and maintaining the shipping documents including packing lists, bills of lading, FEDEX shipments and tracking information, customer-specific labelling etc.
- Identify and develop standards for packaging and paperwork requirements.
- Coordinate worldwide logistics by working with our partners in Asia to ensure product arrives at the destination on-time and at minimal cost by selecting optimal carriers.
- Tracking customer shipments until arrival on both ocean and domestic carriers.
- Creating and maintaining the company samples program including the creation and tracking of sample shipments.
- Work with shipping and logistics carriers on most efficient and effective routes.
- Manage expedited shipments.
- Create and run necessary reports, queries and forms within our ERP system (NetSuite) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed.
- Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred; some college is required
- At least 2 years of logistics, warehouse and inventory experience, preferably with a manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of order picking and item fulfillment processes, as well as counting and receiving inventory.
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and ERP system but willingness to learn new programs and become more efficient on others.
- High maturity level, who is responsible and has good time management skills.
- Problem-solving experience with a willingness to figure out the best answers to issues through perseverance and creativity.
- A high sense of urgency with the ability to work in a fast pace environment and under time constraints.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely.
- Ability to wrap and maneuver pallets in the warehouse setting.
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment maintenance.
- Forklift certification or willingness to be trained and certified for light use of a forklift.
