Job Overview:
The primary objectives of this position are to identify key customer opportunities and develop a strong sales pipeline of quality prospects, actively engage key target clients, and close commercial cleaning projects in line with sales and company goals. The candidate is expected to be the primary company expert in their territory and must be able to develop and implement successful sales plans to close commercial janitorial business.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and new market opportunities
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
- Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets
- Manage accounts and provide excellent customer service to build long-term relationships
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to track sales activities and update customer information
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as an Outside Sales Representative or in a similar role
- Industry experience required
- Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
- Excellent account management and customer service abilities
- Familiarity with technical sales processes and products
