Job Brief.
Our team is looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to plan, coordinate, and implement a project-specific quality control program within our Aviation Fueling Division. As the quality control manager, you will execute the QC program, ensuring its performance is in accordance with contract requirements, complete administrative documentation on time, and cultivate customer satisfaction to ensure delivery of successful projects to owners, in the safest manner possible, on time and on budget with first in class level of quality. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with various project stakeholders, including Project Superintendents, Safety, Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foreman, and Field Personnel. To succeed, you must ensure MEB’s core values are being lived on the project every day and that quality, health, and safety standards onsite are your top priority. This role will require willingness and ability to relocate to support MEB projects in various locations in the United States.

Core Areas of Responsibility.
- Implement, manage, and oversee the quality control program for the assigned project.
- Provide leadership and direction for all aspects of the QC program
- Manage, conduct, and coordinate the three phases of control and documentation including areas performed by the QC Specialists, testing laboratory personnel and any other inspection and testing personnel required by Contract.
- Execute notification requirements to the Special Inspector of activities that require review and coordinate Special Inspection activities.
- Conduct QC weekly preparatory, inspection, and project close-out meetings.
- Perform submittal review, approval, and material release, ensure testing is performed, and provide QC certifications and documentation required in this Contract.
Skills You Possess.
- A four-year accredited college or university program in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Engineering Technology or a minimum of 6 years of combined experience as a Project Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a QC Manager on federal construction projects (USACE/ NAVFAC) is preferred.
- Familiarity with the requirements of EM 385-1-1, and experience in the areas of hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
